Spring Home Refresh Ideas with Indaba’s Pacific Coastal Style

Spring, marked by the Equinox, is the perfect time to refresh your interior décor and embrace home refresh ideas that reflect the balance and renewal of the season. Whether it’s adding pops of blue and green to your living room or sprucing up vases with fresh spring florals, there are countless ways to invite lightness, warmth, and nature’s beauty into your space.

Spring is the perfect time to refresh your interior décor and embrace the changing season. As the Spring Equinox marks the balance of light and dark, it symbolizes new beginnings, making it the ideal time to refresh your home and invite in renewal and vitality. With longer days and warmer temperatures ahead, a seasonal shift in your décor can help your space feel lighter, brighter, and more in tune with nature.

Our Spring Summer collection is live and we are excited to show you how we infused Pacific Coastal style into this unique west coast cabin, nestled in the lush forests of Sooke, using accessories from our new Spring ’25 collection.

We love this collection because it feels natural, textural, breezy, and lived-in. It’s relaxed, easy, and inspired by nature. A traditional coastal palette layers white, muted neutrals, and ocean blues, and while this collection hits those notes, it still feels desirable for decorating inland spaces.

The cushions and throws are light and breathable. Natural linens with seaside stripes and cottage checks complement springtime floral block prints to bring fresh, subtle colour. We add interest and depth through textural pillows with wool baubles, woven patterns, and bouclé weaving.

We love layering natural fibres. Seagrass, jute, and woven textures run through the décor and accessories in the collection from rugs to organic shaped lamps, to woven baskets to unique accents like decorative brooms and weighted doorstops.

The décor accents are a thoughtful curation of artful objects that evoke emotion. From candleholders to vases and trays, they are made from organic materials. Natural and bleached woods in beachside tones bring lightness, and handblown glass vases evoke the waves and ripples of the sea. Classic white ceramic vases and sculptural light-toned papier mâché bring scale and showcase lush greenery and fresh florals, whether real or artfully faux.

A few ocean accents bring the beauty of the seaside home. Ceramic dishes shaped like oysters and clams, and bowls with undulating curves that mimic waves or coral.

The result is a home that promotes a carefree, comfortable, and calm lifestyle; that signals the warm weather ahead, and encourages relaxation and good times spent with family and friends.
